What will you imagine?

What is it

Creative

An interactive exploration of creativity and teamwork structured as a classic game show

game word clues, envelope and colored markers

Challenging

A challenge for your imagination - there are no right or wrong answers

fun drawn images, beer and colored markers

Fun

A fun and energizing activity for your students, faculty or staff

How it Works

1

Attendees play the game as a group, which typically takes about an hour and a half

2

Six people play onstage and the rest of the group is the audience

3

Being in the audience is not passive - audience members act as judges of the onstage teams and also get to play creative games at their tables

where we do it

We come to you

The room size can vary depending on the size of the group. We need a stage (doesn’t have to be literally elevated) and a screen to project a laptop on - the audience sits at tables where they can both watch what goes on up on stage and collaborate with each other.

But let’s go offsite

It can be fun and energizing to get out of your familiar space and engage your team or students in a new location. Let’s talk about a museum or maker space or other interesting venues that can shake things up a bit!

And beer can help

Research shows that beer and pizza help creativity! In Hampton Roads, Smartmouth Brewery is our home base. Let’s play there or find a similar spot near you.

Oh - and Zoom

Like everyone else, we pivoted to virtual during the pandemic. If that’s still the best mode for you, let’s do it! Here is a short trailer for the Zoom version of the game.

What Comes after

  • Nothing, necessarily - you can do it as a “standalone” event to energize and engage your group

  • Or you can deepen the impact with follow up deep-dive sessions designed to take the creative and open mindset generated by the game and apply it to real-life business problems or academic pursuits

  • The Imagine That! team can help to whatever degree is desirable - from creating discussion guides and lesson plans to facilitating meetings

Creativity. Teamwork. Fun.
